Founder Anna George launches this venture on the back of a 15 year career in which she has spearheaded growth and change across the region for giant industry players such as Sony and TikTok. She has been breaking new ground for more than a decade. Anna has witnessed changing attitudes first hand throughout her career and FTA represents a watershed moment for female talent in the Middle East. Now is the time.

FTA is the first agency of its kind in the Middle East. It’s born out of deep industry and regional knowledge, decades of experience working with brands in the region and a foresight born out of that which has identified the unique opportunity for brands to harness the power of the diverse female voices transforming MENA.

Key for FTA was celebrating feminine energy without falling into feminine stereotypes. FTA is anything but subservient and the identity needed to reflect this.

Yellow is a colour heavily associated with creativity. It’s high energy, and in western cultures, generally neutral in terms of gender associations. In our research we discovered that in Islamic teachings yellow is a colour prohibited for males. All of which helped drive us towards the bold, high-contrast colour palette that underpins FTA’s visual identity.

This is a purpose driven business with a lot to say. It’s confident enough to stand behind its beliefs and is designed to drive change. This attitude is reflected in the type led design system. Bold headlines in ALL CAPS dominate many of the layouts. Playful intersecting of type and image with unexpected layout choices give the branding a contemporary, almost brutalist feel. Photography will more often than not take centre stage. It is designed to amplify the identity whilst also letting the artists themselves be the heroes.

It’s an identity system that presents an uncompromising vision for the future of femininity in a rapidly evolving region.

Ultimately the goal for FTA is to elevate the female voices of the region commercially. Connecting outstanding female talent with the right brands in ways that benefit all involved. Capturing the deeper purpose behind the business, whilst fully recognising the business goals that will facilitate the change FTA aims to bring, has been key to successfully launching this exciting new brand. Once we established the identity system we created social media tool kits, brand guidelines and a CMS powered website in Webflow ahead of launch.

Within just a few weeks FTA had secured its first deals and was already making big waves across the region. This is one we’re really excited to watch grow.

Female Talent Agency (FTA) is a movement. A business designed to empower female voices in the rapidly growing Middle Eastern music industry. They are an organisation bridging the gap between artists and brands, creating a space where female artists can thrive and collaborate authentically. Our branding work helped them announce themselves with a bang. They are not asking for a seat at the table, they’re taking it and their identity reflects this. Bold, confident and unexpected. Our new identity system amplifies the warmth and humanity established with the brand platform. Rich base colours contrast with punchy energetic highlights. A mixture of texture, pattern and hand-drawn elements work together to give the identity warmth and approachability. Type styles are mixed to add both personality and informality without undermining the trust an enterprise level SaaS product needs from its audience. To bring it all to life, a beautiful bespoke illustration style from the incredible Woody Woods is balanced with carefully curated photography.It’s an identity system full of variety, humanity and easygoing authority. Exactly in tune with Ciphr as an organisation and as a suite of products.

To complete the rebrand, we reworked Ciphr’s online presence. Our redesigned site encompasses updated UX with a clear focus on conversions and driving users towards them. We created a full UI system using the updated identity design and wrote all new copy for the core marketing pages. Ciphr’s previous website was hosted on Wordpress, as part of the build we fully migrated this to HubSpot CMS, pushing the boundaries of what is possible and managing all of the complexities of moving seamlessly from one system to another.On handover, Ciphr were equipped with a robust page builder system within their CMS, Figma and Canva social post building kits, a full suite of branded assets and comprehensive guidelines in PDF and video formats. Most significantly, they have been empowered with a distinct, versatile identity system that allows them to confidently stand out in a crowded market. Ciphr has big plans for the next few years. They now have the tools to make them happen.

ContentCal had already established great relationships with their customers and a good reputation in the market. Business was growing. They had developed a strong internal culture. But they needed to tell a stronger and more consistent story to hit the ambitious targets they’d set for themselves.We kicked things off by immersing ourselves in all things ContentCal. The product, the people, the market. We explored their previous strategy work and audited all their existing materials. This led us to a strong story and brand position built on the idea of ‘Get Clear’.

With a desire from within their team to retain some of the brand equity they had established, we thought carefully about the story their logo was telling. It spoke of planning, precision and calendar placement – but felt static and uninspired. ContentCal is much more than that, and plans to go further still with moves into AI and automation. So we experimented with ideas around artificial intelligence and a more dynamic, organic approach to moving data and messaging. Content that takes on a life of its own. This led us to the morphing shapes which became the foundation of the updated logo and the catalyst for the identity system as a whole.

ContentCal brings content to life. It connects the marketing team and opens the door to content creators from across the business. It simplifies the planning and allows the right content to move freely through your various channels and platforms. In the future it will even do this intelligently on your behalf. The morphing shapes that sit at the heart of the updated identity bring these ideas to life, giving ContentCal a fluidity and sense of movement that connects and evolves. They layer around illustrations and photography to illustrate the depth to the connectivity ContentCal offers its users.

Airborne worked closely with ContentCal on the redesign of their website. We dissected the experience and architecture and rethought it based on the goals they’d set – primarily to drive leads towards a free trial. Post launch, ContentCal reported an immediate bump in all key metrics – from visits, pages viewed, bounce rates and most importantly conversions.

Propstore’s catalog is vast and ever changing. They sell rare, unique pop-culture atifacts on demand all year round. They also have auctions of different types and sizes throughout the year – including two showstopping events either side of the Atlantic. Their original site was creaking at the seams, which gave us the opportunity to tackle the design from the ground up. Following our research and a full audit, we completely reimagined the whole experience. The navigation, search, product presentation, information architecture, shopping cart, membership areas, the auction site – everything. The impact has been immediate, with the subsequent auction breaking all previous records and an immediate spike in all important site metrics.

Propstore have a large and well established audience, a deeply passionate community of collectors. The rebrand and website update represented a giant leap forward, so it was vital that we managed this carefully. We developed the Find your extraordinary campaign to introduce the new identity first to their existing audience and partners, but then also to the wider world. The campaign has been a huge success to date, seeing a big spike in interactions over all previous campaigns and driving unprecedented traffic towards the new site.

Propstore are pop-culture collectible pioneers. They forged a whole new sector when they started auctioning real props from movie studio archives 25 years ago (these would often just get discarded would you believe). They have since gone on to connect collectors and fans with some of entertainment’s most treasured artifacts.

Companio are a business innovating in a conservative field. Registering a business, dealing with tax, managing accounts – these cannot be taken lightly. The persona of a Companio client is a business owner or entrepreneur already thinking outside the status quo, but even here, it is important that professionalism, knowledge and transparency are firmly established within the brand. We looked at the use of colour and typography around the bolder elements of the identity to help build this trust with Companio’s audience.

Having started life as ‘Your Company in Estonia’ in 2018, this innovative business quickly grew to become the top foreign owned connector to Estonia’s innovative e-citizenship scheme. By 2021, their vision had expanded. They aim to become the leading provider of business and accounting services for borderless companies in and outside the Estonian scheme.

The founders Ignacio and Miguel came to Airborne Studio with a new name and the brief to completely re-imagine their brand and identity. We worked closely with them to define exactly who they are and what they stand for, before bringing Companio to life with a fresh visual and verbal identity system.
